ENTITLEMENT

Roehampton full time employees are entitled to paid sick days after successful completion of the probation period.

 

Number of sick days will be calculated on the prorated basis starting on the first day of employment.

 

All regular full time employees will receive up to 5 days off with pay per year.

 

CONVERSION TO PERSONAL EMERGENCY LEAVE

Under exceptional circumstances, 2 paid sick days can be used as a personal emergency leave.

 

INSUFFICIENT SICK DAYS CREDITS

When there are insufficient sick day credits to cover an absence due to illness or injury, any lost time will be deducted from the employee’s regular pay.

 

REPORTING

In case of sickness or emergency, each employee is responsible for informing the Manager about her/his absence before beginning of the office hours to allow for work reassignment. This should be communicated through phone call or email.

Please make sure to create Trello card with information about your absence for record keeping purpose.
